A Letter to My Clients & Community | Reflecting on 2025
As 2025 comes to a close, I find myself slowing down - not to stop, but to reflect.
This year was filled with moments that reminded me why I started JW Lettering in the first place. From live, on-site personalization at brand activations to thoughtful in-studio commissions and bespoke gifts created with care, 2025 was a year shaped by connection, trust, and meaningful details.

The Power of Personalization
Every name engraved, every word lettered, every piece customized carries a story behind it. Being invited into those stories is something I never take lightly.
As a Toronto calligrapher and hand engraver, my work goes beyond aesthetics. It lives in moments - a guest watching their name come to life in real time, a gift that marks a milestone, a brand choosing intentional personalization to connect with their audience in a more human way.
This year, I had the privilege of creating unique personalization experiences across corporate events, weddings, showers, private celebrations, and brand activations throughout Toronto, the GTA and even beyond. Each project, big or small, was rooted in trust. Trust in my process, my artistry, and my ability to turn something simple into something memorable.
That trust is everything.

One of the biggest reminders of 2025 was this - the most magical work happens when artists are supported with creative freedom, respect, and collaboration.
I’m endlessly grateful to work alongside an incredible network of artists, planners, agencies, and teams who champion that belief. From multi-artist activations to behind-the-scenes coordination, these collaborations are what elevate the experience for clients and guests alike.
It’s never just about the finished piece - it’s about how it feels to create it together.

While I’m closing the chapter on an incredible year, I’m already looking ahead with so much excitement.
