Jessie Wang

JW Lettering is the work of artist Jessie Wang, a classical pointed pen calligrapher & engraver. She works from her home studio in Vaughan, Ontario, serving clients in Toronto and the GTA Area.

In the earlier stages of Jessie’s creative journey, she has built strong foundations in pointed pen calligraphy through self-study of the original American penmanship manuals. She has also studied diligently with world renowned calligraphers and Master Penman. Jessie’s calligraphy style fundamentally begins with traditional Copperplate and Spencerian Script, and has evolved overtime with her own creative flourishing style. Today, she combines her love for calligraphy and design to create bespoke stationeries and artworks for luxury brands, weddings, corporate events and more. In a world of technology with digital messages and interactions, she hopes to deliver to you the timeless elegance of beautifully handwritten artwork, and bring an unforgettable personal touch to any wedding, event and gift.

Jessie has an international audience of over 50K on Instagram, over 5 million views on social media and her artwork has been loved and featured on many magazines and blogs including WedLuxe Magazine,  RuffledBlog, Cayman Vows Magazine. Her work has also been endorsed by public figures such as George Takei. She has also had the privilege to work and collaborate with many top international brands such as Louis Vuitton, Bulgari, Tiffany & Co, David Yurman, FENDI, Holt Renfrew.

Aside from client work, Jessie hopes to inspire and encourage others to explore their creative side and step into the world of calligraphy by regularly sharing tips and resources on her Instagram.
